The Rusheen N.S. athletics team competed in the West Muskerry Cross Country which was held in The Town Park in Macroom recently.  Thirty Five  pupils from the school competed in the competition which was held in good conditions.  All performed admirably and finished their races.  Congratulations to Seàn Cummins who came first in the Under 9 Boys  race and Jacob Barry who came first in the Boys Under 7 race.  Others to win medals were James Twomey, Rachel Kelleher, Lily O’Shea, John Kelleher, Sarah Kelleher, Danielle Twomey and Moira Leahy.
