Thanks to everybody who helped out in any way to make the First Holy Communion such a memorable occasion for our 2nd Class, to all those who helped set up the hall and the caterers on the day.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION 2016
The Sacrament of First Holy Communion was celebrated in St. John the Baptist Church Rusheen on Saturday, May 14th. Eight pupils from Rusheen N.S. received the Sacrament, Seàn Cummins, James Cuddihy, Lucy Hinchion, Darragh O’Shea, Michael Buckley, John Kelleher, Michael Twomey and Pierce Lynch. The beautiful May morning set the scene for a joyful and spiritual ceremony celebrated by Fr. Joe O’Mahony. Each of the 8 children and their parents played a special part in the Mass, in the Readings, Responses, Prayers of the Faithful and Presentation of the Gifts.
Special thanks to everybody who helped make the ceremony in the Church and party afterwards in the G.A.A. Hall such a wonderful occasion.

CONFIRMATION 2016
Ninteen pupils from Rusheen N.S. received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Wednesday 27th of April in St. John the Baptist Church, Bealnamorrive.
