An Allianz Primary Schools’ indoor hurling blitz took place in Macroom Sport’s Complex on Tuesday March 8^th. Four schools took part. These were Ballyvourney, Kilnamatyra, Terelton and Rusheen N.S. Over 40 children took part. It made for a very sporting occasion with plenty of games for all. Rusheen showed great enthusiasm and skills throughout the day. The children were a credit to their schools and thoroughly enjoyed themselves throughout.

Well done to the pupils who participated in the Muskerry Final of Scòr na bPàistì which was held in Ovens on Sunday, March 6th.  The Novelty Act came first and is now through to the County Semi-Final which takes place in Ovens on Friday, March 11th at 7.00 p.m..  The senior and junior set dancers came 2nd and 3rd respectively and Adam Ring came 2nd in the Sean Nòs Dancing.

Rusheen N.S. had a large representation at the Muskerry Semi-Final of Scòr na bPàistì held in Inchigeela and Coachford on the 26th and 27th of February.  Well done to all competitors and especially to the following who got through to the Muskerry Final which will be held in Ovens on Sunday 6th of March at 2.00 p.m  -  Senior Set & Figure Dancers, Junior Set & Figure Dancers, Instrumental Group, Sean Nòs Dancing and Novelty Act.
