On Tuesday 23rd of January 2018, Rusheen N.S. competed in the Scòr na bPàstì Muskerry Semi-Final in Coachford. We participated in the Figure and Set Dancing, Solo Singing, Sean Nòs Dancing, Solo Figure Dancing, Scèalaìocht, Solo Instrumental, Ballad Group, Novelty Act and Quiz. There were a lot of great participants and Rusheen were very successful as we got through in each category we entered.
On Friday night we participated in the Scòr na bPàistì Muskerry Semi-Final in Inchigeelagh under Aghinagh Football. We entered Figure and Set Dancing, solo singing and the quiz. We got through in both dances and the quiz. We didn’t get through in our solo singing but everyone who performed on the night did their school proud.
On Saturday 27th we headed to Coachford for the 3rd Semi-Final with our Aghinagh Hurling Team. We participated in the Rince Foire and Rince Set. We danced well but unfortunately were unlucky and didn’t get through. Well done to everyone who participated.
