Rusheen N.S. recently entered in Roinn F8 of the Sciath na Scol Competition. In our first match we played against Cúil Aodha and won 7-7 to 2-2. Then we defeated Inchigeela by ten points. The match after that was against Clondrohid. This was a match we had to win for pride sake. Sadly we drew 1-2 to 1-2. This was the only draw in our group. Our next match was going to be one of our hardest matches yet. We beat Kilbronane by one goal and three points. In our next match there was fierce rivalry. We were against Aghabullogue. Sadly we lost that match by three points. Rusheen’s last match was against a school in our own parish. It was against Ballyvongane. We lost that match also. In the end we came third with 13 points. The final will be played in November between Ballyvongane and Aghabullogue. This is a photo of our team. I was the captain and Jordan was vice captain.
