The Sacrament of First Holy Communion was celebrated in St. John the Baptist Church, Rusheen on Saturday, May 15th.
Seven pupils from Rusheen National School received the Sacrament, Con Buckley, Adam Leahy, Kate Lehane, Aoife Twomey, Erin Leahy, Shona White and Adrianne Lynch. The Mass was celebrated by Fr. Corkery P.P. and each of the children played a special part in the mass, in the readings, responses, prayers of the faithful and presentation of the gifts.
