The Credit Union Quiz took place in the Castle Hotel, Macroom on the 2nd of February. Two teams from Rusheen N.S. participated but neither of them got a place in the next round. The under 13 team came 4th while the under 11 team came 7th. The participants in the under 13 team were, Luke Ring, Jack White, Lily O’Shea and James Cuddihy and on the under 11 team the participants were John Kelleher, Lucy Hinchion, Aisling Lehane and Chloe Lehane. The winners in both age groups were Aghabullogue. Some examples of questions were:-
1/ What element does the diamond belong to? Carbon
2/ Which is faster a kangaroo or a zebra? A kangaroo
3/ When was the G.A.A. founded? 1884.
