The Credit Union Quiz was held on Sunday 28th of January at 2.00 p.m. in the Castle Hotel. There were about 25 schools in the quiz.
Our Under 13 team came 4th and our Under 11 Team came in 5th place. The Under 13 winners were Aghabullogue on 59 points and the runners up after a tiebreaker were Scoil Fhionnbarra and third place went to Coppeen (both on 57 points). In the Under 11 section, the winners were Canovee on 48 points. Aghabullogue came 2nd on 44 points and 3rd place went to Kilmurry on 43 points.
The under 13 team consisted of Michael O’Riordan, Ailbhe O’Shea, Tom Buckley and Noah O’Leary. The Under 11 team was made up of John Kelleher, Lucy Hinchion, Lily O’Shea and James Cuddihy.
